Herefordshire Carers braved a deluge of rain to come to Wellbeing Day at the start of Carers Week 2014.  Therapists from the  Yeleni Support Centre, students from the RNC and Herefordshire & Ludlow College, Lisa Fisher from House of Colour, joined HCS staff at the Town Hall in Hereford to treat local Carers.

Chairman of Herefordshire Council, Cllr Olwyn Barnett opened the event and delivered a heartfelt thank you to local Carers.  A touch of magic was provided by local magician Lofty, whose close-up table magic wowed everyone.

“The conjuror was great fun.  The meal was excellent.  The folk I met were so friendly and so good to hear of all they cope with and exchange helpful hints.!  This has been a day to remember when other days can do with the uplift of memories of happy times.  Many thanks”.

“Much appreciated”  “a Great Event”  “Always a treat, therapies, lunch and staff always A1”

“Thank you for hosting this annual event!  Fabulous!!”
