My name is Jamie Lawson, I’m 31 and a department manager at Sainsbury’s in Hereford. I completed the Hereford Marathon in September 2014 and as I like to keep physically fit and active and enjoy facing a challenge, I have decided to give the 3 peaks challenge a go to support our local Charity of the Year, Herefordshire Carers Support.
My brother in law, William Condie, is 26 and works as an online marketing technician for the outdoor company TrekKit in Hereford. He participates in several outdoor sports such as climbing, mountain biking and kayaking and with his experience, I’m relying on him to run the show. The order of challenges will be Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon and we aim to complete all three in under 48 hours.
Why are they doing this? Simple…… to raise awareness of Herefordshire Carers Support and the fantastic work they do supporting the unpaid Carers across Herefordshire. The work they do to ensure that carers as young as 8 years of age can enjoy a break from their daily challenges as well as have someone to talk to through difficult times is inspiring and valued.
This is going to be a fantastic challenge and we appreciate ANY donations that we receive for this amazing charity. Our target figure is £500 please sponsor us by going to
