Let’s talk: stress and anxiety for older adults

Manage your fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue

Let’s Talk is Herefordshire’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service – this is a free service from the NHS.

The courses offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression as well as other common mental health difficulties.

CBT focusses on the “here and now”. It uses specific techniques to manage symptoms by modifying behaviours and thoughts that maintain depression and anxiety.

You can self-refer to Let’s Talk as well as being referred by a GP. However, if a person has (or have had) a serious mental illness then these courses may not be appropriate for their needs. We advise the person to discuss this with their GP.
