Walking for health

Walking is great for your health. Walking for Health is a programme of free walks within the community. These walks are led by trained volunteers (free training provided). 2G could use this as a resource, either by signposting/referring service users and carers to try an existing walk out. Or 2G could set their own walks up, this could be solely for service users, carers, both service users and carers or to include the whole community. The walks could also allow 2G staff to join in to help their emotional wellbeing.  Experts by experience may be interested in attending the Walk Leader training and lead 2G’s walks. Please let us know if you feel there could be an interest for this.
