12 Jun Save Herefordshire Young Carers Services
I used to worry about my mum when I was at school. I used to struggle getting my homework done and now I know I can do it at young carers. Staff at the young carers support service give me advice and coming to the club helps me talk about things that worry me. It also gives me a break from caring.
Registered Young Carer, Charlotte looks after her mum and grandparents. Charlotte, who is 14, looks after her mum who has PTSD and both of her grandparents who have various age-related illnesses and mobility issues.
Since hearing that Herefordshire Young Carers Club will end after Wednesday 18 July 2018 she launched her very own ePetition (ends 31 July) calling on Herefordshire Carers Support to save the current young carers service. The ePetition asks Herefordshire Council to allocate enough money to continue the services provided by Herefordshire Young Carers Support.
Please show your support for Charlotte and other Young Carers across Herefordshire by signing the ePetition.
We provide a free service saving the council lots of money so deserve a free service to support us in our caring roles
