A monthly support group for people who provide unpaid support to someone who may be ill, frail, elderly, have a disability or long-term health issue or have mental health issues.
Carers groups are an opportunity for carers to meet in a safe, confidential space over a cup of tea. Groups provide a chance for Carers to gain information and talk to others who understand.
Speakers are often invited to meetings to talk about issues of interest to carers. This month the group will focus on ‘Managing Difficult Days’. This session will look out those inevitable days, (sometimes weeks and months) when life feels hard, or bleak and things are not going very well. This session aims to enable you to understand and help yourself when those days occur.
Carers in Ross-On-Wye meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month, 10.30am – 12.30pm at the Phoenix Theatre. Please check before attending.
