A monthly support group for people who provide unpaid support to someone who may be ill, frail, elderly, have a disability or long-term health issue or have mental health issues.
Carers groups are an opportunity for carers to meet in a safe, confidential space over a cup of tea. Groups provide a chance for Carers to gain information and talk to others who understand.
Speakers are often invited to meetings to talk about issues of interest to carers.
This month Carers will be looking at relaxation and making time for themselves. Making time to relax and for yourself is and essential part of your daily routine. Everyone deserves at least one portion of pleasure ever day, time for you once a week and a treat once a month. Very often people have busy lives and feel they have no time to relax, to plan time out or give themselves treats. However, they provide many benefits to your wellbeing.
Come along on Wednesday 2 August to find out more.
Carers in Ross-On-Wye meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month, 10.30am – 12.30pm at Alton Street Surgery. Please check before attending.
