14 Nov Parent Carer Coffee morning
Are you a Parent caring for your Son/Daughter with a special need and/or disability? Would you like to meet other Parents in a similar situation? If yes, why not come along to one of our coffee mornings?
You may feel you want to join a group for parents whose children have the same condition as yours. If there is no condition specific group then do not rule out joining a group for all disabilities. Parents can offer friendship and emotional support regardless of their child’s condition.
Coffee mornings are run in Hereford every Tuesday and Friday morning at The Kings Fee (Wetherspoons), Hereford.
Coffee mornings offer a friendly atmosphere to give Parent Carers the opportunity to chat with others in a similar situation to themselves.
For more details, including directions to the venues please get in touch!
Herefordshire Carers Support is a local charitable organisation which supports unpaid family Carers.
Perhaps you don’t think of yourself as a ‘Carer’? You may see yourself as the mother, father, husband, wife, son, daughter or friend of someone who needs care, simply trying to do your best for someone you love, or perhaps doing what no-one else can or will do.
Herefordshire Carers Support provide advice, information, training, emotional and practical support for Carers of all ages; children, parents and older people who care for someone with a long term health condition or illness.
Everyone needs help and back-up at some point. If you’re not sure what kind of support you need or whether you need support at all, please get in touch.
