24 Jul Please help Young Carer Charlotte raise £100
“At home I help my Mum and at the weekend I help my Nan and Grandad”
“At my Mum’s I go to town with her to do the shopping because she gets panicked and stops breathing. I help cook, I clean and I hoover. At my Nan and Granddad’s I wash up, sort out the laundry, wash my Granddad’s feet, go shopping on my own and polish stuff”
Charlotte is a Young Carer, providing practical help and emotional support for various family members with illnesses and disabilities. As well as caring for Mother, Nan and Grandad, another close family member has recently been diagnosed with a serious illness so Charlotte spends all her spare time helping out.
This kind, thoughtful and beautiful young girl has decided even with her caring role and the challenges she is facing she’s not doing enough for others. She has been growing her hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust.
Please donate what you can to support Charlotte and the great cause of the Little Princess Trust.
Today Charlotte braved the chop and had all of her golden locks cut off for the Little Princess Trust. She is close to her £100 target but not quite there. There is still time to donate online.
Huge thanks to Opal of LV Hair, Bridge Street, Hereford for doing the honours.
